Breast Cancer Research Stamp Reauthorization Act of 2026
Sponsored By: Representative Van Duyne, Beth [R-TX-24]
Introduced
Summary
Extend the Breast Cancer Research semipostal stamp authorization. The bill would change Section 414(h) of Title 39 by replacing the year 2027 with 2037, preserving the stamp's structure, fundraising mechanism, and how proceeds are allocated. That gives the Postal Service a decade more to sell the semipostal stamp and raise funds for breast cancer research.

Breast cancer stamp extended to 2037
If enacted, this bill would let the Postal Service keep selling the Breast Cancer Research semipostal stamp through 2037 by replacing the current 2027 expiration with 2037. Buyers would still pay the small extra surcharge when they choose this stamp. The surcharge proceeds would continue to go to breast cancer research and eligible organizations under existing law. The bill would not change how proceeds are allocated or create any new programs or taxes.
