Zero regulatory cost limit for small businesses
This bill would require the SBA Administrator to make sure that, starting in fiscal year 2026 and each year after, the "small business regulatory budget" for every small business concern is not greater than $0. The "small business regulatory budget" means the cost to a small business from SBA rulemaking, including costs from new rules or changes to existing rules. If enacted, this would limit future SBA rule costs that could fall on small businesses as defined in the Small Business Act.
