Career and Technical Education Month would be designated in February by this resolution, which expresses support for career and technical education and urges educators, counselors, and parents to promote it as a respected pathway. It notes that CTE serves more than 11.1 million secondary and postsecondary students, helps prepare workers for high-wage, in-demand jobs, and highlights projections that by 2031 about one-third of jobs will require some postsecondary education and that infrastructure sectors may need about 1.7 million replacement workers annually.
