U.S. Postal Service nationwide notice rule

This bill would require the U.S. Postal Service to tell the Postal Regulatory Commission before any change it believes will generally affect service nationwide or substantially nationwide. On the day the Postal Service submits that proposed change, it would also have to post a notice inside affected post office storefronts. The notice would have to stay posted for at least 30 days after the change takes effect. Notices would have to list the change, implementation timelines, expected impacts on nationwide service, any public meetings and comment opportunities, how to send comments, and other helpful resources the Postal Service chooses.
