Public cemetery interment schedule posting

This bill would require VA to define “interment schedule availability” and send that definition to Congress within 60 days. Within 120 days, VA would post a spreadsheet on the National Cemetery Administration landing page showing current availability for each operational cemetery. VA would update that spreadsheet every 30 days. Within one year, VA would give Congress a report with five years of availability data. This would help veterans' families and funeral providers plan dates. It would not change who is eligible for burial or provide any money.
