Hot Rotisserie Chicken Act
Sponsored By: Senator Justice, James C. [R-WV]
Introduced
Summary
Adds hot rotisserie chicken to SNAP-eligible foods. This bill would explicitly insert hot rotisserie chicken into the Food and Nutrition Act's list of foods SNAP benefits can purchase and it updates wording in Section 3(k)(1) by replacing "clauses" with "paragraphs" and removing the phrase "of this subsection". The change is limited to the text of the statute and does not alter who qualifies for SNAP or other program requirements.
