Ban on revealing federal officer locations

If enacted, this bill would make it a crime to share certain information about Federal law enforcement officers when done with the intent to physically obstruct, impede, interfere with, or retaliate against them, or to help someone else do those things. It would expand the ban to cover any physical location where an officer is or is reasonably expected to be, whether on duty or off duty. The rule would apply to disclosures about any lawful duty, investigation, operation, or official proceeding involving that officer. The bill would also adopt the definitions of “Federal law enforcement officer” and “immediate family” from section 115.
