Summary

Would award a Congressional Gold Medal posthumously to Bonnie Eloise Rush Milam in recognition of her leadership of the Melody Maids and her lifelong contributions to music education and patriotism. The bill would direct the Secretary of the Treasury to design and strike the gold medal. The original medal would be presented on behalf of Congress and placed at the Tyrrell Historical Library for display and research. The U.S. Mint Public Enterprise Fund would pay for medal costs. The Mint could strike and sell bronze duplicates to recover expenses. The medals would be classified as national numismatic items.
