HRES1346119th Congress

Impeaching Eleanor L. Ross, Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Sponsored By: Representative Fuller, Clay [R-GA-14]

Introduced

Summary

Impeachment for misleading and false statements. This resolution would impeach U.S. District Judge Eleanor L. Ross and present one article titled "Misleading and False Statements." It alleges that between October 2023 and October 2025 Ross engaged in sexual intercourse with a high-ranking Atlanta Police Department official inside her federal courthouse chambers during business hours and within earshot of her staff. A Special Committee appointed by Eleventh Circuit Chief Judge William Pryor investigated a law clerk complaint, reviewed security footage and sign-in logs, interviewed former clerks, tested chamber furnishings, and concluded Ross made material false and misleading statements to judicial leaders and was unfit to remain in office.
