Starting October 1, 2025, the Boulder Canyon Project’s electric service rates will go up by 2.5%, raising the base charge from $74.3 million to $76.2 million for fiscal year 2026. Hoover Dam Power Rates Increase

Starting October 1, 2025, the Boulder Canyon Project base charge rises 2.5% from $74,334,285 in FY2025 to $76,174,568 for FY2026 and stays in effect through September 30, 2026. Customers receiving power from Hoover Dam (Hoover power contractors) are billed a percentage of this base charge based on their power allocation. Unit rates also increase: composite rate from 24.39 to 25.89 mills/kWh (6.2%), energy rate from 12.20 to 12.95 mills/kWh (6.1%), and capacity rate from $2.17 to $2.27 per kW‑month (4.6%).
