Henry County coroners can get expense help

Effective immediately, Henry County's commission may provide its coroner and deputy a vehicle for official duties, beyond legally required pay. The commission regulates the vehicle, which must have needed equipment, including a stretcher and radio. The county pays for the issued vehicle's fuel, oil, and repairs. The commission may also issue a gas card for fuel used in official duties. It may repay expenses for attending state-required training or continuing education; the law sets no reimbursement amount.
