Randolph County probate judge pay and staffing

Starting October 1, 2027, Randolph County’s probate judge gets $70,000 a year in equal payments every two weeks. This replaces all other salary or compensation provided by law, using the same funding sources as on October 1, 2026. The judge is eligible for cost-of-living increases granted to other county officers. Beginning October 1, 2026, fees, commissions, allowances, percentages, and other charges formerly collected for the judge go into the county general fund. On the judge’s recommendation, the county must provide staff, office space, equipment, and supplies needed to run the office properly. The judge must appoint a chief clerk with equivalent powers, except the power to preside over a contested case. The county sets staff pay and pays it in equal installments from the county general fund.

Randolph County revenue commissioner gets $70,000 salary

This salary replaces all other salary or compensation provided by law. Funding comes from the same sources used for the office’s salary on October 1, 2026. The commissioner is eligible for cost-of-living increases granted to other county officers.
