Cullman County drops required monthly evening meetings

Beginning October 1, 2026, Cullman County no longer must hold at least one commission meeting monthly after 6:00 p.m. The commission must follow state meeting requirements and post and publish meeting days, times, and places. It may change regular meeting days by resolution. A majority of members may schedule a special meeting after deciding in writing that it is needed. The chair may call a special meeting in an emergency.
