Beginning October 1, 2026, the law provides $169,633 from Alabama’s State General Fund to the Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The funding covers the fiscal year ending September 30, 2027, and follows state budgeting and fund-release rules. Before release, the Coalition must submit its 2027 operations plan and audited financial statement covering all 2025 operations. It must send these documents to the Director of Finance. Quarterly reports for fiscal year 2027 must detail planned spending and accomplishments. A year-end report must describe work completed, services provided, costs, and meaningful measures of program effectiveness and costs. The Director must promptly forward all required reports to the Legislative Council. This funding does not create a direct household payment or benefit.
