Valley adds eight parcels to city

Beginning October 1, 2026, eight specified parcels in Chambers County, Alabama, become part of Valley and its city jurisdiction. A defined one-acre area is excluded from Parcel 1, leaving about one acre of that parcel included. The law requires a map of the added land to be available for public inspection at the county probate office. The law does not specify changes to residents’ taxes, services, or household costs.
