Higher pay for Marshall County revenue commissioner

The law takes effect July 1, 2026. Starting with the next term, the Marshall County revenue commissioner’s annual salary rises from $67,500 to $106,781. The new salary replaces the old amount, adding $39,281 yearly, paid in equal monthly installments from the county general fund. The commissioner must collect all required fees, percentages, commissions, and other allowances tied to the office’s tax assessor or collector duties. That money goes into the county general fund.
