Public safety cancer insurance limits administrative spending

Arizona limits administrative spending for its public safety cancer insurance program for each year ending June 30. The cap is 10% of total claims paid, averaged over the previous five years. Claims processing, board attorney fees, and program court costs do not count toward the cap. The law removes a separate allowance to spend 5% of the latest year's deposits during years with no deposits. These changes do not directly change individual insurance benefits or create household payment obligations.
