Banks must share government records with auditors

Financial institutions and financial enterprises must provide requested state and local government records to Arizona’s Auditor General or authorized representatives. They must follow the auditor’s required format and timing, and an authorized institution representative must certify the information. The related state agency or local government pays the costs or fees of producing the records. Institutions are not liable to that public entity for providing the requested information. The law sets no dollar amount for these costs.
