Optional retirement boosts for eligible correctional workers
Arizona employers can add up to $5,000 per eligible correctional plan participant to their defined contribution retirement accounts. Employers set service milestones, such as 5, 10, or 15 years, for these payments. They must pay covered participants equally when they meet that milestone. Workers cannot be required to contribute extra money to receive the payment. Payments are optional: employers can stop them anytime and need not pay again after an earlier payment.
