No loudspeakers targeting homes at night

Using a sound amplifying device to target a home for a protest is illegal from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. This applies in Residential, Residential Flat, and Residential Apartment Zones under D.C. zoning rules. A 'sound amplifying device' means any machine or loudspeaker that makes sound louder. It does not include car audio heard only by people in the car, hearing aids, or headphones. If an officer tells someone to stop, continuing or starting again is illegal. This emergency act remains in effect for up to 90 days.

No projectiles thrown onto homes

It is illegal to launch or throw a projectile onto someone else’s home property to scare, intimidate, or retaliate. On conviction, a person can face a fine set by D.C. law, up to 90 days in jail, or both. This emergency act remains in effect for up to 90 days.
