Faster permits for two Congress Cove lots

Beginning July 28, 2025, the owner of two lots that front Congress Cove Court can get District approvals faster. They can obtain building permits and utility location sign-offs before the 30-day congressional review of the permanent act ends. This acceleration is limited to that owner and the listed approvals.

Square 6153 alley named Congress Cove Court

The District officially names the public alley in Square 6153, between 4th St SE and Atlantic St SE, as Congress Cove Court. The change takes effect July 28, 2025. City maps, addresses, and property records now use this name. Nearby owners and residents can use it for mail, permits, and utilities.
