File and renew Florida trademarks online

Beginning July 1, 2026, the state runs a secure website to file and renew Florida trademarks. You can upload an electronic specimen and a drawing of the mark. You can pay the required filing fee online and complete the sworn verification electronically. The website must be available no later than December 31, 2027. Paper filings still need three specimens; online filings need one electronic specimen that shows the mark in actual use.

Florida adopts international trademark classes

Starting July 1, 2026, Florida uses the international list of trademark classes. Goods use Classes 1–33 and services use Classes 35–45. The state also adopts classes for certification and collective marks. This standardizes class choices and does not change fees or who can register.
