The Worth County Board of Education chair receives $300 per day. Each other board member receives $200 per day. This pay applies for days they attend board meetings, and for committee meetings and travel in or out of state when a board majority first authorizes the official business. Members are reimbursed for actual, necessary expenses. Members must submit service and expense accounts to the county school superintendent for approval. The law makes these rules effective on the first day of the month after it is approved.
