Gwinnett judges get $80,200 pay boost

Each Gwinnett Superior Court judge receives an $80,200 yearly pay supplement. It is on top of the state-set salary and allowances. Gwinnett County pays it from county funds in equal monthly checks. The county may also add more pay if it chooses. Beginning July 1, 2025, this applies only if the General Assembly does not pass in 2025 a law that bans local judge supplements. If that ban passes, this law does not take effect and is automatically repealed on July 1, 2025.
