The law repeals the penalty subsection for four crimes: prostitution, keeping a place of prostitution, pimping, and pandering. Courts and prosecutors can no longer use that subsection to set punishments. The law does not add new penalty language in its place. The change takes effect upon the Governor’s approval or upon becoming law without approval.
