More concussion care providers for students

Beginning July 1, 2025, licensed athletic trainers count as “licensed health care providers” under school concussion rules. If your child has a concussion at school, these trainers can evaluate and help manage care. This gives families more options for timely help. The law does not add funding or new fees.
