Beginning July 1, 2025, Iowa adds telephone, information, and cable services; wireless service; and broadband systems to the state’s critical infrastructure list. Sabotaging these systems falls under the state’s critical infrastructure penalties. This strengthens protection of phone, internet, and cable service across Iowa.
