New filing service and surcharge for bank filings

Beginning July 1, 2025, filers of state bank documents under chapter 524 can request an extra filing service from the Secretary of State. When they request this service, the office must charge a surcharge set by chapter 9, subchapter II. On the same date, section 9.11(1) procedures apply to chapter 524 filings, aligning how these filings are handled.
