Banks gain extra filing services with fees
Beginning July 1, 2025, filers of documents under Iowa’s banking law can request extra filing services. Iowa’s secretary of state must provide the requested service and charge an added fee. The fee follows Iowa’s existing filing-service rules; this law does not state the amount. The charge applies only to filers requesting extra services, not directly to households.
