Lifetime fur harvester license for Iowa disabled veterans

Beginning July 1, 2025, you can get a lifetime fur harvester license if you are an Iowa resident veteran with a service-connected disability. You must have served on federal active duty and have a service-connected disability rating under federal law. You pay a fee set in department rules and submit the department’s application. The department issues the lifetime license after you pay. The Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs helps verify your service and disability.
