Real estate clients get referral pay notice

Beginning July 1, 2026, broker companies must give clients a written notice at the time of any referral to another broker if the referring broker may be paid for the referral. The notice must be in writing and delivered when the referral is made. This improves transparency for home buyers, sellers, and renters.
