Fewer rules for small Kentucky honey producers

The law exempts producers who sell less than 500 gallons of their own Kentucky-produced honey each year. The honey must be pure and unadulterated. These producers do not need a certified honey house or food processing establishment to process that honey. They also do not need a cabinet permit. Other applicable state food laws still apply.
