Menopause education for Maine residents

Beginning July 1, 2025, Maine DHHS works with health care providers, hospitals, and community health programs. They create and share perimenopause and menopause information online and in print. Materials explain symptoms, treatments, when to contact a provider, and the biology. They also offer tips on talking with family and friends. The state provides $20,000 in FY 2025-26 and $20,000 in FY 2026-27 to Maine CDC to support this work.
