DHHS identifies any unused part of two one-time $3 million funds by March 30 each year (FY 2025-26 and FY 2026-27). If money remains after replacing cuts in federal Victims of Crime Act grants, DHHS splits it in half. Half goes to the statewide domestic violence resource center coalition. Half goes to the statewide sexual assault support center coalition. The funds support community-based services and are one-time only.
