Guardians or personal representatives can run dental office 48 months

A legal guardian or personal representative of a Maine-licensed dentist can hire another dentist to run the practice. They can keep it open for up to 48 months after death or incapacitation, or until it is sold. Before, the limit was 24 months. The law takes effect immediately under the emergency clause, so the longer window applies now.
