Wholesaler tastings allowed with cleanup rule

Maine wholesale alcohol licensees can host taste tests off-site with written bureau permission. A wholesaler may rent or lease a room from an on-premises retail licensee or any unlicensed venue. Use it only to invite retail licensees to taste wine or malt liquor. After the event, the wholesaler must remove all products they supplied from the site.
