Maine board reviews ATV size rules
The law directs Maine’s Landowners and Land Users Relations Advisory Board to review ATV sizes, weights, and classifications. The board must consult a person whose oversized ATV registration was rescinded, an ATV maker, and an ATV dealer, and may include others. The board must report findings and recommendations to the inland fisheries and wildlife committee by February 1, 2027. The report must summarize the board’s meetings and list who took part. The committee may draft a bill in 2027 based on the report. This study does not change current ATV registration or vehicle rules.
