Stronger privacy for Maine lottery winners

If you win a Maine Lottery prize of $100,000 or more, your name stays private unless you sign a release. If you are in the Address Confidentiality Program, your name stays private for any prize amount unless you sign a release. The Lottery can share your name with another state agency only for reasons allowed by law, and that agency cannot re-share it. This confidential winner information is not a public record and cannot be released to the public.
