One-time funding for local emergency medical grants

Beginning July 1, 2025, the state provides a one-time $100,000 from the General Fund for fiscal year 2025-26. The money goes to the Maine Department of Public Safety, Emergency Medical Services, for the Maine Emergency Medical Services Community Grant Program. The department uses it to make grants to eligible local community groups that run or support emergency medical services. There is no General Fund money for this program in fiscal year 2026-27.
