One-time funding for statewide emergency alerts

Beginning July 1, 2025, the state increases support for emergency alerts. The Maine Public Broadcasting Corporation gets $250,000 in 2025–26 and $250,000 in 2026–27. The State Controller transfers $250,000 by June 30, 2026, and $250,000 by June 30, 2027. The money comes from the Maine v. Google settlement account. The Maine Public Broadcasting Corporation must use it only for activities named in the court decree and approved by the Attorney General.
