The state provides one-time grants to free health clinics. Beginning July 1, 2025, funding is $50,000 in FY 2025-26 and $50,000 in FY 2026-27. The health department splits each year’s money by a formula: a base amount per clinic plus extra based on clients served. The grants help clinics keep operations and patient care going, especially for uninsured and low-income patients.
