Respite care funding for family caregivers

Beginning July 1, 2025, the state funds respite care and extra services for family caregivers and older relative caregivers. The Office of Aging and Disability Services gets $100,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2026-27. The money supports the Family Caregiver Support Program.
