One-time funds to measure Medicaid home care gaps
The law provides one-time funds in fiscal year 2025-26 to map gaps in home and community-based services. The Office of MaineCare Services gets $18,620 from the General Fund and $18,620 in federal funds. This pays for data system work to share MaineCare data with the Maine Health Data Organization. The Maine Health Data Organization gets $45,000 to hire a consultant to support this work. All amounts are one-time for 2025-26, with no funding for 2026-27.
