More funding for supportive housing providers

Minnesota provides $10 million in one-time funding for its supportive housing program. This includes $1.5 million for fiscal year 2024 federal Continuum of Care grant recipients with past or expected funding gaps. Their contracts must have expired or must end before December 31, 2026. The state can prioritize grants based on need. It can fund current or past federal recipients without following specified application and purchasing requirements. The agency must make its best efforts to commit the $1.5 million within 120 days after July 1, 2026. These changes take effect the day after final enactment.
