Child abuse now covers meth exposure

The law expands child abuse to include meth exposure. A person commits child abuse if they knowingly or recklessly make, have, or put meth into any person’s body while a child is present. It is also child abuse to leave meth where a child can access it and the child’s blood, urine, or other test shows meth. The rule covers any child under 18 and applies to acts or omissions.
