The law redirects $100,645.01 from six earlier Saipan appropriations to drainage improvement projects in Precinct II. The Department of Public Works receives the money, and its Secretary controls spending. The money cannot be shifted to other purposes and has no fiscal-year deadline. The law requires distribution for the intended purpose upon enactment. After the funded work is complete, the Secretary must submit a detailed spending report to the Saipan and Northern Islands Legislative Delegation’s Chairperson.
