Effective June 30, 2025, the law keeps Mississippi’s intensive supervision and electronic home detention programs in place through June 30, 2029. These programs were previously set to expire after June 30, 2025. The extension preserves an alternative to prison for eligible offenders but does not guarantee anyone a place.
