Beginning July 1, 2025, more activities at registered Mississippi locations qualify as farm tourism if they let the public view or enjoy rural activities. Activities no longer need a recreational, entertainment, or educational purpose. Operators must keep the required warning clearly visible at the entrance, but no longer need a separate activity-site sign. Required warnings use lettering at least one inch tall and must still appear in written contracts for related services, instruction, or equipment rentals. Operators lose the law’s liability protection if they fail to meet these warning requirements.
