The law authorizes adding specified Newton County areas to the Sebastopol Natural Gas District. Expansion requires separate legislation authorizing the Newton County Board of Supervisors to participate. The added land includes Sections 1–5, 8–17, and 19–30 of Township 7 North, Range 10 East. It also includes Sections 30 and 32–36 of Township 8 North, Range 10 East. Residents may gain access to natural gas service, but the expansion does not guarantee connections or set household costs.
