Contracts cannot block licensing complaints

Contracts cannot stop you from filing or pursuing a licensing complaint under Montana law. They also cannot stop you from taking part in or helping with an investigation. General waivers do not block these complaints. Licensed professionals can be disciplined for using these contract terms or for retaliating against someone who files a complaint. This law is in effect now and does not change rights or penalties from before it took effect.
