New yearly notice for homeschool families

Homeschool families must tell the county superintendent each school year that their child attends a home school. You must keep attendance records and share them if the county superintendent asks. You must meet the state’s minimum total hours and teach the core subjects public schools cover. These rules take effect immediately and are required to stay exempt from compulsory school enrollment.
